Parabellum wants to change the genre with a completely new multiplayer-mode. Thus far it was normal to play single maps, in a custom user-defined order or several times in a row.
Parabellum leaves this concept behind and introduces the multiplayer-campaign, in which victory and defeat have direct impact on the progress of the campaign.
Before the game starts, the size of the campaign will be determined, so how many maps will be available. The winning faction of a map decides in which place of the city, ergo on which map the campaign will continue, at this are also external circumstances important. When for example something blocks the way to a heli-pad, the attacking team has only the possibility to head for the subway-station as next route, which limits the selection of accessible maps.

Goal of the campaign is - depending on the party - to defeat the terrorists and to find and defuse the nuclear warhead which is hidden in New York City or protect that warhead and delay the anti-terror-unit for a certain time. The time, which the anti-terror-unit needs, plays a decisive role, since during the battles of both teams the countdown of the atomic bomb is ticking on. When the time is up, the game is over for both parties and Black November has won. When the SFOD-Delta succeed to find and defuse the warhead in time, it wins.

In addition to this multiplayer-campaign, Parabellum will offer of course also classical gamemodes like deathmatch or teamdeathmatch.
